Supported Operating Systems

Only 64-bit operating systems are supported.

Windows:

• Windows 10

Linux*:

• RHEL 7.x and 8.x
• CentOS 7.x and 8.x

*Simpleware Medical and Simpleware Design link tools are not available in the Linux operating system.

• Processor: Intel Core i7 or equivalent
• Memory (RAM): 16 GB or higher**
• Graphics card: Workstation grade OpenGL 3.2 compatible graphics card with 1024 MB VRAM***
• Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080; True color (32bit) or more
• Disk space: 100 GB

**As a guideline, allow twice as much RAM as your datasets size for volume rendering visualization and about 4 to 8 times for segmentation, surface mesh generation etc. The memory required depends heavily on the size and complexity of your image data and resultant model to be analyzed.

***Simpleware Auto Segmentation tools require a CUDA-enabled NVIDIA graphics card with a minimum compute capability of 3.5 and a maximum of 8.x. In addition, a minimum of 4GB VRAM is required.
