Charlie Matar

Charlie Matar is Sr. Vice President of Engineering leading 17³Ô¹Ï¡¯ System 17³Ô¹Ï Group. He is a technology executive with a background in building and managing business units and global engineering teams. His track record includes managing multiple projects starting from product definition to leading SoC and IP development on advanced process technologies and delivering products across diverse market segments such as mobile, highperformance computing, automotive, and IoT/wearable devices.

Prior to joining 17³Ô¹Ï, he held executive roles at TSMC North America, Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm. Charlie has a BSEE in semiconductor physics from the University of Texas, Austin, and an MSEE in microelectronics from Southern Methodist University.
