Our goal is to help you easily create your own device (such as a home appliance or a small robot) by reusing some of the existing components in ConnectedZoo, from just a single Connection Library to a well-known device, by just taking what suits you best and adapting it to your needs (if needed).

Once you have created your device, come back to ConnectedZoo and publish it: others will surely benefit from it! Together we will try to create a consistent, coherent repository and slowly (but surely) transform the DiY-IoT world.

Key Components

ConnectedZoo is composed of, but not limited to:

• Mobile applications to visually control the devices (e.g. Android app published in the market)
• Mobile libraries and APIs (e.g. Connection Libraries)
• Embedded devices parent libraries (e.g. Arduino bluetooth and/or ethernet)
• Snippets of code for those tricky things that don't belong to libraries
• Hardware layouts to help you do it yourself
